Five Things to do on a Friday Night Instead of Going Out

Let me guess, you had a long Friday at work with back-to-back meetings all day, or if you’re lucky, then you spent most of the afternoon building your team fort to protect you from the nerf gun war. Regardless of what your Friday looked like, you’re more than likely pretty exhausted, and there’s no way you’re going to put any effort in hitting up the local bar with your friends. But it’s okay, we get it. You’re feeling like an old soul living in a young body, but you’re not alone - we’re right there with ya! So if you're too tired to fix yourself up and go out, then check out our list of things to do on a Friday night instead of going out and partying.
1. Take Buzzfeed Quizzes.
I don’t know about you, but there’s really nothing better than taking a quiz on what your favorite pizza combination will reveal about your wedding date. Or the number of children you’ll have based on your salad preferences. Or your thirst level percentage based on your choice in men or women...and the list goes on.
2. Catch up on all your favorite shows.
Most of us have two-three favorite shows we watch regularly - or try to. So why not catch up on all of them?! Yes, I said it. ALL. OF. THEM. Stock up on all your favorite snacks and binge-watch till you fall asleep. No shame in that game.
3. Sing karaoke.
Get your lungs warmed up and your vocal chords in practice. Get you and a few friends some alcohol, and make a karaoke playlist. All you’ll need are YouTube videos and two microphones, and you’re all set. Just make sure security doesn’t come to your door at 5am asking you to shut up. It happens, trust.
4. Treat yo self to a self-made spa.
There's nothing as relaxing as a hot bath, a bottle of champagne, and lit candles at the end of the night. Think of the additional plus sides, you don't have to wear makeup OR clothes!
